Chapter 149. The Email

I was tempted to turn off my phone but decided against it because I did not want to be unavailable in case my father wanted to reach out to me. I knew that he was taking all of this really well but that did not mean that he was Superman. 

He had feelings too and I knew that all of this had also affected him just as it had affected me. I did not want to be selfish and make everything about me even though I was very much tempted to do so. 

I placed the phone in my pocket and walked inside the mansion. Where was I headed? First, I had to send that email that Bradley had told me about before leaving, before going down to the basement to the safe. 

When I reached the study, I went straight for the computer behind the desk. There was a password on it and considering that I did not know it made me feel frustrated. “Sh*t,” I said under my breath as I stared at the screen.
