They all looked taken aback and it was obvious that they did not like my response. It looked like they really wanted us to merge with Josh’s company. But I was not going to let that happen. Letting that happen would almost be the same as letting Eternity Limited be cleansed off Bradley. 

And I did not want that. I was not going to let Bradley down the way that I had let Nora down. 

Mr. Fin adjusted himself in his seat and forced a smile. A few other board members were mumbling to each other but stopped as soon as the man started. “Lisa, listen…I know that you want what’s best for the company. I know that you want to try to save it but this is the only way.”

“Yes, we are losing employees and partners are leaving,” The lady who had spoken first joined the conversation again.
