Chapter 266. The Room

His outburst; how he was yelling caught me off guard, and for a split second, I froze. I was not sure if I should stand my ground or leave like he was demanding. Why was he yelling at me like this? 

As far as I could remember, I did not think he had ever yelled at me like this before—not with such raw intensity. It was not even anger, I could tell. It was something else; something more.
