I stood at the window, my breath fogging up the glass as I gazed out at the snow-covered world. The silence that lingered was only for a few minutes before a knock came at the door. 

I was pulled out of my thoughts and world of magic soon enough. I walked away from the window and headed for the door, opening it without asking who it was. 

Once the door was open, I saw Josh standing there in a suit. “You’re just waking up. We have work, Lisa. Yesterday was Monday and the only reason I didn’t say anything about us going was that we had a lot to do. But we need to leave.”
