Chapter 64

I was halfway through tying my tie when my door burst open.
“Seriously?” I muttered, not even looking. “What happened to knocking like a civilized human being?”
Diego strolled in like he owned the place, holding two cups of coffee in his hands and the smuggest grin known to man. “Did you sneak Dahlia in last night?” He looked around like a thief.
I didn’t respond. I understood what he was trying to do.
“I’ll start knocking the day I think you might be doing something I shouldn’t see.”
I raised a brow, still adjusting the knot. “You mean like paperwork?”
“No,” he said, plopping himself on the edge of my bed. “I mean like Dahlia.”
I paused, giving him a warning look in the mirror. He extended the coffee in his right hand to me, but I took the one in the left. He smiled and just sipped his coffee and smirked wider. Jackass.
“This is my house, remember? I’m going to be needing some privacy now,” I said coolly.
