“What about Bridget?” I spat out the words, bitter on my tongue.

His hand froze, and he glanced at me, his brow furrowed in confusion. “What about her?”

“Don’t lie to me,” I snapped, annoyed that he was treating me like an idiot. “I know she’s your mate.”
