Chapter 6. The Meeting at Midnight

The man walked towards Tyla. She stood there, startled, trying not to show fear.

She quickly spoke, “Why are you following me around? I’ve kept my end of the deal, and I didn’t say a thing to anyone.”

“Boss wants to see you.” The guy walked to the back door of the car and opened the door. “Jump in,” the man said with a deadly look.

“I can’t leave my car parked here. What the fuck does he want to do with me anyway?” Tyla replied in a feisty tone, folding her arms on her bosom.

About 30 minutes later, the car pulled up to a private jet at the airfield, and the man got down. He opened the door for Tyla and watched his boss walk down the airstairs.

The boss slowly approached Tyla, who was standing by the car.

She also walked closer to him and asked, “What is it that you want from me?” Her voice was a bit shaky. “Stay the fuck away from me. I haven’t said a word to anyone. I won’t have your men following me around like this,” she told him in a firm ton
