Chapter 16

The wind was chilly on the balcony but she didn’t mind it. She was hurting when he accused her mother of sleeping with another man. He had no idea what happened to the woman after they broke up so how dare he! Maybe, she should wake up from her dream of living happily with her father. As she wiped her tears, she tried to compose herself. Now that Sebastian was somewhere else, probably with Sasha or anyone else, she decided to escape, and return to the monastery. 

However, when she looked up, she just noticed that the moon was so bright. Was it a full moon? Then, her eyes widened in the realization that vampires were so powerful during the full moon! When she turned around, she almost screamed upon seeing him standing a few meters away from her. 

“Sebastian!” She exclaimed in surprise. 

“Are you done crying?” 

“I wasn’t crying,” she lied. 

“Liar,” he said, and without warning, he came towards her and embraced her tightly.
