Chapter 34
Work appears so fast yet goes so slow. Many patients were waiting outside, and we are doing our best to efficiently accommodate as many as we can.
The usual things happen at work, but the intriguing part was when Trixie made a wrong decision for a patient. Patients with cardiovascular illnesses need medical clearance to push through the tooth extraction procedure. Doctor Fernandez – that's what I was told to call her now – gave the medical clearance. However, fortunately, I placed the patient on hold when I discovered he still had high blood pressure.
This caused the rift between me and Trixie to widen even more than needed.
