Chapter 13. Left Out!
She watched as six black limousines drove in. Her mind raced with thoughts. It was as if Clinton was cooking something big but left her in the dark.
She rolled her eyes on Clinton and tightened her hands into fists on her thighs. “What is going on here?”
Both men and women stepped out from the black limousines. They all gathered around the fountain and stood there as if they were waiting for orders from Clinton.
“You have nothing to worry about, love,” he smiled mischievously and with total fakeness in his eyes.
“That does not answer my question,” she lashed out. Seeing the werewolves gather could only mean one thing. “If you don’t tell me the truth, I will get it out myself!” Her eyes hardened with rage.
“Fine,” he muttered. He gestured for Samuel to leave. He breathed a sigh of relief before opening his mouth to speak. “They are not gathering because they are happy I am back. I made them a promise 20 years ago and they are here to…”
