Chapter 31. Friendly Visit
THE WOODS AT ROUTE 7, CHICAGO
Clinton pulled up in front of Samuel’s cabin as he angrily walked out from his car, slamming the door so hard.
“Mates!” Samuel called out. “He’s here!” he announces the arrival of Clinton.
Clinton’s countenance isn’t bright at all. Rage is written all over him as he walked up to Samuel, tossing him a tiny device he found on Mary’s backpack. “I found this on Mary’s backpack,” he said furrowing his brows.
After a closely gaze at the devise, Samuel lifted his face toward Clinton. “This is a tracking device.”
“I know that,” Clinton growled. “Whoever that did that must have hand in her disappearance.”
“Where did you find her back pack?”
“In a coffee shop,” Clinton said. “At the manager’s office.”
“Then you can compel the manger and find out the truth from him about where…”
“Fuck!” Clinton yelled in frustration. “Fuck!” he yelled again, kicking against the wooden spandrel.
