POV: Harmony Winters

Filled with determination, I alighted from the taxi and went into the company, Mateo Furniture, where Sean was currently based in as a managing director. I had confirmed through his father that he was right there at the moment, and I decided to have a one-on-one conversation with him, especially now that Rhys wasn’t going to be in the picture for some time. Now was the right time to rekindle our old flame (not like it had ever been ignited), so that even when Rhys came back from his journey, I could prove to him that he was old news.

I walked into the company with calculated steps, and at the reception, I informed the receptionist that I was Sean Mateo’s girlfriend, and that she should tell him that I was around and I wanted to see him right now. Although she had initially insisted that he had instructed no one to come to his office, she had finally given in to my persuasion and given him a call.
