POV: Rhys Anderson

There was a meeting at Mateo Models, and I had been given a letter of invitation. Since Nathan blatantly refused to go on my behalf because he had embarrassed himself in front of Kaitlyn on their first date, I had no other choice than to show up at the agency and attend the meeting by myself.

I stepped into the meeting hall, where a round table had been fixed with chairs surrounding it. It seemed as if only the important people had been invited, as the crowd that I had seen the other day weren’t present.

Kaitlyn walked up to me, wearing a big smile on her face. “Good morning, Mr Anderson,” she said.

“Good morning, Miss Mangrove. You seem happy today. May I know what the secret is?” I asked, returning her smile.

She shrugged. “Maybe it’s because I’m hoping your friend, Nathaniel, will be here today,” Kaitlyn said.
