POV: Harmony Winters
“Where are you taking me to?” I asked, looking out the window for the first time, only to see that we weren’t on the road that led home.
“You’ll see,” Rhys replied, without looking at me.
“Do you even know where you’re going to? You haven’t been in Texas for a long time,” I said.
“It doesn’t matter. That’s why there is something called ‘Google map'. Quit acting like an illiterate, okay?” he said to me, with a smirk forming around his lips.
“Yes, sir. About what happened earlier...” I started, but he cut me off.
“I already told you that there is no need to explain yourself. It’s okay if you don’t want to talk about it,” he said, cutting in.
“I heard what you said the first time. It’s just that there’s this terrible ache I’m feeling in my chest, and I really need to let it out,” I explained.
