I didn’t need a soothsayer to tell me that my job in Texas was done. Honestly, I had no ill intentions when I hadn’t obliged to heed in to Harmony’s request of getting the footage which showed her act four years ago. However, I was glad that I hadn’t immediately accepted to do that, because it was only then that I got to find out the kind of person she truly was.
The way she had behaved only showed that she had intended from the beginning to use the recording of the conversation I had had with Nathan against me. That’s why she believed I would also have the same kind of thoughts towards her. Since she now knew the whole truth about me, and it was the same for me, nothing was ever going to remain the same between us anymore.
