Chapter 61
POV: Rhys Anderson
I stood on Harmony’s porch for about one minute before she opened up the door.
“Oh, it’s you,” she said casually, opening the door a little bit wider for me to come in.
“Good morning,” I said, stepping into her house.
“Yeah, good morning. Did you sleep well?” she asked.
“I sure did, thank you. You?” I asked.
“Not really. With everything that happened last night, I couldn’t sleep well. I kept on thinking and everything kept on replaying in my head. I’m surprised you could even sleep at all,” she replied.
“I guess I was made out of something other than dust, although I actually can’t also stop thinking about last night. I still can’t believe Mr Sovanna had me fooled all these years, and I really feel like just strangling him to death. Since he called me a murderer, I might as well become one,” I said, getting angry all over again.
Harmony gave a light chuckle. “You’re just saying something we both know you can never do
