Chapter 9
POV: Rhys Anderson
I was busy mapping out strategies so as to up my game, when Nathan strolled in from the kitchen with a cup of hot tea placed on a saucer in his hands.
“Care to disclose your plans now?” He asked, sitting on the sofa, were I also sat.
“Almost. Hold on,” I said to him.
He sipped his tea, making a noisy sound which was irritating to my ears. “Could you find somewhere else to sit? The way you’re drinking your tea is disturbing my work,” I told him, as bluntly as I possibly could.
He shifted to the far end of the sofa, and kept on sipping it noisily. I didn’t want to sound like an old woman with the love for nagging and decided to just ignore him, and pay attention to my almost concluded strategy.
A few moments later, I smiled being fully convinced about my plan. I shut down the laptop and turned over to look at Nathan, bopping him slightly on the arm.
“What is it?” He asked, barely looking up from his cup of tea.
