“Whoa,” Monica said, staring at the man in front of her speechlessly. She licked her lips and picked up her drink to have a sip. She glanced outside the streets and heaved a deep sigh. Then turning her gaze back to the man, she gulped. “What happened?”

Ryan smiled softly and shrugged. “Nothing, we just decided we don’t want it anymore.” He exhaled deeply and licked his lips. “We both decided that it was better this way.”

“Um…” Monica gulped. “Ryan, this has nothing to do with me right?”

Ryan furrowed his brows. “Why are you hyping yourself too much? Why would divorcing my wife has something to do with you?”

Monica rolled her eyes. “You know what I’m mean.” She pouted and exhaled sharply, “I mean my story.”

It was Ryan’s turn to sigh and he rubbed the back of his neck tiredly. “I won’t say it didn’t play a part, but it also helped me realize what I should have known.”

“Ryan, I told you my story and yours are different. You are not supposed to react
