Chapter 20
Sofía's university is enormous. I step out of the car in my formal work attire and my favorite black sunglasses. Everyone around looks at me, and I button up my jacket's middle button while keeping my gaze on the university. Behind it, there's a football field; the front is adorned with gardens, and the entrance doors are large and made of glass. A bit ostentatious for people without money. I decide not to overthink things and walk in. On my way to the office, the female population curiously and lustfully eyes me, which, not to lie, boosts my ego. On the other hand, the male population seems somewhat bewildered. I understand their confusion; not every day a man who looks like he's stepped out of a magazine appears at the university where they study. If this had happened in my time, I would have tried to strike up a conversation with that man, just to seek a job opportunity. But everyone here seems mesmerized.
