Alana's POV

“You're sweating," Noah looks at me calmly, maybe we're not thinking the same thing, I haven't told Evans that Jack is going to be around here for a week, I kept that information to myself. I doubt Evans would mind seeing Jack; they became good friends when my parents tried to set us up, which is fine, I mean, Evans isn't fond of people chosen by my parents. I hear the Lather plane landing and grip my bag tightly, Donna has insisted that we welcome Jack as a sign of respect and gratitude for traveling here. I didn't argue with her, I didn't want to argue again, especially not after the contract incident.

I'm busy checking out the latest updates on Instagram when I hear Donna smile and make strange sounds with her mouth. I look up, and Jack is standing in front of me. He hasn't changed much, a few days' worth of beard growth, slightly longer hair than usual, the white shirt half unbuttoned gives him a sexy and rebellious look.
