Chapter 33
Jack's POV
I should never trust Evans again. At least not in the sense of going places with him without him telling me where we're going. This morning, we were at his house, and he smiled at me openly, then said, "I have a surprise for you, you'll definitely like it." He said it so enthusiastically that I believed him. We were eating cereal while watching Sabrina, and behind us was Evans' roommate, an attractive guy, not more than me, that's for sure, but he has his own charm. I could feel his gaze on the back of my neck, he kept looking at me, and it was starting to annoy me that every time I opened my mouth to say something to Evans, he would scoff silently.
For a moment, I considered telling Alana's brother that I was going to head home, but it's not fair to either of them, so I stayed.
