Chapter 13

(Dylan's POV)

If I'm to go with Ava's plan, I'm sure I'll survive the summer without her....if I can survive at least the next three days. On the face of it, it doesn't seem that hard. Bury myself neck deep in work, speak to no one... especially her, at least not till the evening, when Lily's presence is around to keep us from having each other's throats.

On one of those such days I find myself in her room, and we talk ourselves into oblivion until we're thoroughly lost in each other's words and there's no one else on the room with us, not even Lily who is just a few feet away.
