(Ava’s POV)

My least favorite part of the day used to be waking up early for work. But now it's saying goodbye to Ivy. Even though most times she's barely awake to reciprocate my teary eyed goodbyes. "Bye babygirl. Listen to Edith okay? And eat all your food. I love you" I say while nearly smothering her with kisses. She regards me sleepily with one eye open, probably wondering for how much longer she has to endure this obsessed madness.

Honestly, I should be the sleepy one. Ivy literally woke me up at four am with her loud crying and didn't go back until I sang the theme song of her favourite green dinosaur cartoon series three times.
