"So? how's life after graduation?" I asked Layla as we clear the breakfast table. It was superb. Ava is a great cook don't get me wrong, but there really isn't anything like a mother's cooking. Especially when that mother is a professional chef.

"Oh it's going fine so far" She responds as we head into the kitchen. "I'll wash, you rinse okay?"

"Okay" I reply. Our parents have a dishwasher, not to mention people that they actually pay to do the cleaning, but I might as well chip in since I'm here.

Layla continues to answer my earlier question. "I'm taking a gap year before I start work, cause I'm trying to add more skills to my portfolio. Don't misunderstand me, I know I'll always have a place at the Belfrost Hotels and Suites, but I just want to get work experience from people I'm not affiliated with at all you know?"
