Chapter 46

(Dylan’s POV)

I can't find Ava.

I haven't seen her since she shot out of my office like her jeans were on fire earlier today, and it's not for lack of trying. I've been in her office more times today than I have in the past week, but everytime I go there she's never in.

It's like she's avoiding me, but that can't be right, right? I didn't do anything wrong!

Vanessa's offer still rings at the back of my mind, even now as I'm looking for my girlfriend. It would do the hotel a whole lot of good, and the extra income would mean I don't have to break my parent's backs for getting funding for the wedding. I'm sure Ava would understand when I eventually tell her. That's if I can find her, anyway.

I check the time on my watch again. Work has been over for an hour, and yet still no sign of her. I turn the corner, deciding to just wait in her office when I spot Lily chittering away to Jame
