Chapter 23
The Galleria Doria Pamphilj was one of the first places I visited when I moved to Rome, and now I wanted Amanda to enjoy it as much as I did. It had been one of my best ideas so far, at least as far as she was concerned.
Of course, there was always the detail that I had already visited it, but as they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained. I bet on this earthly beauty called a museum.
When we entered, I was overwhelmed by the same feeling as years ago, feeling small but at the same time ecstatic at what humans were capable of creating driven solely by a dream.
"It's incredible," Amanda remarked. Her eyes roamed all over the palace; she was obviously impressed by what she saw. "What shall we see first?" she asked, hanging on to my arm.
