Fool, fool, fool.
Those were the words I repeated to myself over and over again as I rode in Emiliana's car because only a very stupid person sabotaged themselves the way I did. You had to be really masochistic to create a storm in a teacup. The date was going perfectly fine, even better than fine, and I had to go and ruin it with my poisonous comments.
A part of me, which I should listen to more often, encouraged me to be honest with Emiliana about my opinions. If we were going to continue dating, it was important to have some things clear.
"We're almost there," Emiliana informed, slowing down the car. "Is there any special dish you want to eat?" She asked without taking her eyes off the road. I pretended to think for a few seconds.
