"See you at two o'clock in the afternoon at the reception. With love, Emiliana."
The words written in that note started my day in a beautiful way. Emiliana's handwriting was elegant, a combination of delicacy with a certain strength applied at the end of each sentence. I still couldn't believe we were going on a date today; it was so unreal that I wondered if I was in the middle of a dream from which I would wake up at any moment, facing disappointing reality.
Of course, my date couldn't be like a normal person and inform me personally or through a message; that's what was customary. I made a mental note to remind myself to give her my cell phone number and ask for hers.
