Chapter 24

Lola's POV

     You know that feeling when it feels like you've finally reached your final destination, then you can rest? That's exactly how I felt when I saw the pack come into view. 

     I might not have a mate still, but I have people who will support me and stay by me now. Even though they're not up to 5, they're still people I can count on to stick up for me. 

      The pack house came into view, and I saw a fuming Nathan standing in front of it. Uh-oh. I looked towards Lyla, and she didn't seem to care that he was angry and it was directed at her. 

     We packed in front of the pack house, and Nathan stormed over to the car, knocking harshly on the window. Lyla took her time to turn off the engine and unbuckle her seat belt before opening the car.

     "What the hell, Lyla? How could you go on a girl's day out or whatever without my permission or Adrian's?
