Chapter 31

Lola's POV

Lyla and Nathan were kissing.

I could not keep my surprise in and gasped loudly, gaining their attention. They turned their attention to me, and I felt like I was intruding on their moment so I hurriedly went back the way I came in.

"Lola!" Lyla shouted after me, and I froze in place. I slowly turned around to look at her and saw her whispering harshly to Nathan, who kept pouting at her. 

Nathan is pouting? What a sight to see on the big bad Beta. 

I giggled at the sight of Nathan pouting and acting like a kid, which made them turn their attention to me. Lyla glared at me, and Nathan looked embarrassed, so I looked away shyly. 

Nathan eventually left, greeting me on his way out. "Good morning, Lola," he said lightly. Someone is in a happy mood, I see. 

"Good morning, Nathan," I said softly, bowing to him as he left. He had barely gone far when Lyla pulled me by my arms and dragged me towards her room.
