Chapter 23

Lola's POV

    I opened my eyes and saw a garden filled with roses and other beautiful flowers. I felt like I was floating through the field as I could not feel the ground beneath me.

    I looked down and saw that I was now wearing a white gown, the bathrobe long gone. My skin looked like glass, flawless and smooth. I raised my gown to check the scars on my thighs and they were no longer there.

    I felt like I could live in that garden forever, away from all heartbreaks, away from all pains, no scars nor injury on my body. I did not want to leave the garden.

    I closed my eyes and continued to enjoy the peace of the garden when I heard a very beautiful voice call out to me.

    "Lola, child. Welcome. You grew so well, thank you for holding out and persevering", she said the same things as Serena. I looked around, trying to find the voice but I couldn't.
