When he mentioned about the boarding school, I knew I had to follow his wishes. My time in the boarding school was the most unforgettable experience in my life, and I didn’t want to go there again.
Why did I have to apologize? Asher was the one at fault! But I knew that I had no choice. My father's orders were not to be disobeyed. So I set off after Asher, my heart beating fast in my chest. I had no idea what I was going to say to him. As I caught up to him in the hallway, I could feel his eyes on me.
"What do you want?" he asked, his voice cold.
I took a deep breath, feeling a sense of nervousness. "I... I wanted to apologize," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Asher looked at me, his expression skeptical. "Apologize for what?" he asked.
I felt a sense of shame wash over me. "For spilling the drink on you," I said, feeling my cheeks grow hot with embarrassment.
