Chapter 110. A Lot of Talking

Leah’s POV

My mother stayed silent for a long moment, and I could feel her trying to make sense of everything. I did not blame her, it was a lot to take in, and if it was me, I would do the same. 

In fact, if it was anyone, they would do the same. 

I did feel kind of sorry for her. Her only child, after losing the love of life, getting kidnapped and not being able to do anything about it for weeks. She must have been losing her mind. Because I knew that if it was me, I would have not been strong enough. 

So I was so proud of her, she was such a strong woman. And I loved her. 

Looking at her now, I could see that she had lost a lot of weight. I could easily tell that she had stopped eating and that she needed to take it easy. I could see stress written all over her face. In this short time that I was gone, she had even aged more.
