Leah’s POV
Coffee.
The smell of coffee filled the air and I liked it. Coffee. It was something that I enjoyed; something that I never knew until my dad died. It was my way of he;ping me to cope. It was my version of hard drugs.
It was something that quieted the voices in my head and made me a little more normal. But after a few years of my dad dying, my mom said that I was drinking it too much and I stopped. It was not easy but I stopped.
So smelling it once again felt so good. This would be the first time having it in a while, and trust me, I was so excited for it. But I was mostly curious as to what the man who was making it had to say.
