Chapter 144. A Message

Leah’s POV

I stared at it, the squirrel. It was like it was staring back at me, but I knew that it was dead. I needed to get rid of it, and I needed to do it fast.

With my heart still beating, I reached for my phone and stood upright, making sure to take a picture of the creature, just to be on the safe side.

In case I have to prove that this had happened, I needed some kind of evidence. So yeah, a picture would be perfect.

I then put the phone on the bed and turned, making my way out of the room. I needed to get to the supply closet. 

I was sure that some cleaning supplies would be there. That was where I had taken some from when I had to clean Rafael’s father’s study after you know what.

I opened the door and walked out, making sure to close and lock it. I didn’t need anyone going in and finding the squirrel.

I did not have the mental strength to explain right now. I just wanted to get rid of that and get back on trac
