Chapter 154. The Smell of Bleach

Leah’s POV

I needed to do something, I could not just stand here and let my mind spin. I needed to actually do something.

I closed my eyes for a few seconds and then opened them while breathing out a sigh through my mouth. My heart was thumping in my chest but I knew that my emotions weren’t going anywhere so I needed to do what I needed to do despite them.

I breathed out through my nose and walked away from the dead cat, heading to the door. I unlocked and opened it, walking out and heading down the hallway and towards the supply closet.

At this point, I think I could make my way over here with my eyes closed. 

I opened the door and walked in, grabbing everything that I needed in a few seconds before heading out and going over to my bedroom. 

I opened the door and walked in, making sure to close and lock it. Then the next thing that I did was make my way over to the cat lying there.
