Chapter 158. Driving Again

Leah’s POV

After ending the call, I was nervous.

I was really nervous, my heart rate was up again and I felt nauseous. I had a feeling that Sasha and her parents had either found out that I had told somebody about the girl not being their actual daughter, or they knew long since and they had just decided to do something about it now. 

I didn’t want to go alone, I wanted to ask Jake to take me, or to wait for Rafael to come home and then he would take me there. But I knew that Sasha would not like that, and neither would her parents. 

I was already on thin ice with them, I didn’t want to make things worse. I just wanted to get it over with. But again, I was scared, what if going there would mean the end of my life?

What if they wanted to hurt me? 

Well, at least Jake knew I would be going there, plus, I could literally write a note and leave it in my room, on the bed, just in case something happens to me.
