Chapter 58. Can’t Help It

Leah’s POV

It all seemed like it was happening so fast but also so slow at the same time. I felt like I was a huge part of what was going on, but again, it just felt like all I could do was watch. 

Sasha was ready to attack her boyfriend with the bottle in her hand, or maybe I should just say ex. But then Rafael stepped in, stopping her. “Sasha, you need to calm down before you do something that you’d regret.” He was trying to calm her down and talk to her. 

And she stopped. She actually stopped. Then an emotion flashed in her eyes before she asked him, “Do you even know what happened?” 

“I don’t need to know, I just don’t want this to get worse. We can talk this out when everyone’s a little calmer.” He folded his arms on his chest, standing between Jake and the girl.
