Chapter 60. Why Is He Being Nice?

Leah’s POV

When we reached the door of my bedroom. We stopped and he turned to the female guard standing there. “Give me the key for the door,” He said to her, extending his hand as he waited for it. 

The lady did not hesitate, she fished it out of her pocket and handed it to him. 

“Also, you’re relieved. You don’t ever stand here to guard this door ever again, do you understand. And tell that to your colleagues too. I’m going to give the key to Leah, and she can leave or enter this room as she pleases,” he explained to the guard. 

I was confused and taken aback, but in a good way. But more confused though, because why was he doing all of this? He had just stood up for me in front of his parents and was now giving me the freedom to leave and enter the bedroom as I pleased? 

And let’s not forget that he had been jealous when he had found out that I had kissed Jake. He had even punched the guy.
