This was weird. Why was our teacher telling us that people were going to come in at any moment and that they were going to ask us about Leah? Was she that important? 

I mean, yeah, she was married to Rafael but that was just an arranged marriage. It was nothing serious. So I was a bit confused. I mean, I did hear that she may have been kidnapped by the guy’s family just so he could be with her, but I don’t know how true that could be. 

I adjusted myself in my seat and reached for my bag. One of the Lees said something to me, and I heard her but I acted like I did not. I did not want to be disturbed. I did not want to be bothered and maybe you will see it as me being rude or mean. 

But no, I was just asserting dominance. I was showing them their place. They should at least know that. If I could give any advice, the first would be, don’t be nice. Being nice did nothing for you.
