Chapter 73. I Just Don’t Learn

Leah’s POV

As I walked down the stairs, I already knew what to expect. As if the stares from this morning because of the party scene was not enough, after the entire school having to go on pause all because of me, it was going to be another level. 

I just knew it. 

After I reached down the stairs, I took my time, I did not want to rush. It was not like I was excited or anything. If anything, I was dreading going back. But when I look at it from another point of view, maybe this was good. 

Although most of the people who went to this school were snobs, I had a feeling there were some good and humble people. Now they all knew that I was in this country against my will and that I had been kidnapped and the police were looking for me, maybe someone or a couple of people were going to reach out to me to help me. 

Maybe. But it was not like I was depending on that anyway. I had a set plan, and I was going to keep looking a
