Chapter 74. An Embrace

Leah’s POV

I walked away with my heart racing in my chest as if I was being chased by a wild animal. I was literally shaking and I felt so embarrassed and bad. 

I made my way down the hallway and then my eyes fell on Rafael. But I did not stop, I just kept going, walking right past him. His eyes landed on me and he called after me, but when I did not answer or anything, he followed me. 

I did not want to talk or say anything. I felt like if I dared to open my mouth right now, I would break down. And considering that everyone now knew that I was a victim and that I had been kidnapped, I just did not want to make it worse; you know, with the attention and all that. 

So I made my way down to the bathroom and walked inside. I opened one of the stalls and walked in, closing it right after I was in. I closed the toilet lid and sat on it. Normally, I would not do anything like this. 

And what I meant by that was that normal
