Dominic’s POV

“No, I won’t!” Jocelyn shot out, her voice starting to rise. “Who is she, Dominic? Who’s this little slut you’re keeping away from me?”

“Watch your mouth,” I warned her in a low, ominous voice. “You don’t even know what you’re talking about.”

She sniffed, strutting out her chest, and crossed her arms over it. “I am supposed to know what goes on in this house. You think you can sneak around with some girl and I am not gonna find out? You really underestimate me.”

My fists were tight at my sides, but I held firm. “Leila’s off-limits to you.”

“Leila?” She slanted her eyes, sneering at me with her lips. “So that’s her name. Now, who is she, Dominic, another one of your little playmates?”

I stepped up closer to her face, just as an added reminder. “Leila is off-limits, Jocelyn. You don’t go near her, you don’t talk about her, and you sure as hell don’t barge into my house demanding answers.”
