Dominic’s POV

“Are you sure?” I exploded. “I walked her right into Robert’s arms. She came to me for help, and I—” I fisted my hand in, feeling my nails dig deep into my palm. “I pushed her away. I thought she was in on it with him!”

Stefano’s silence only built my guilt. “And now look at her. Look what he’s done to her.” I flung my phone onto the table. “This is all my fault.”
