Chapter 24. Stay Away From My Wife!

Theodore’s POV

I had special skills.

Hearing from a distance was one of them.

And the second those whispers reached my ears, my heart skipped, with heat rushing through my veins.

“Theodore!” Lucian yelled, but his voice barely registered. My pulse was pounding too loudly to pay attention to anything he was saying.

“You see?! I told you!” I roared, vibrating with anger.

“Told me what?!” Lucian demanded.

But I wasn’t listening.

I was already moving—storming toward the pack member who had spoken, with my claws itching to make an appearance.

“Who was looking for my wife?!” I yelled, and the moment the poor man saw me, his entire body stiffened. His hands were trembled at his sides.

“A… Alpha Theodore,” he stammered with his eyes wide.

“Who the hell was looking for my wife?!” I thundered again, loosing my patience.

“I… I don’t know, Alpha Theodore,” he stuttered, barely able to look me in the eyes.
