Adeline’s POV

“Quickly! Take him inside,” I said urgently and panicking as I followed the pack members through the hospital doors.

I didn’t even remember the documents or files I had returned to the house to pick up.

My entire mind, every single thought, was wrapped around the stranger who had passed out just moments after our eyes met.

“What’s happening?” Rosa called as she rushed outside, looking worried.

She didn’t slow her pace as she made her way to me, matching my steps behind the pack members carrying him inside.

“I don’t know, but he needs urgent attention!” I replied instantly, rushing ahead of her into the pack’s infirmary.

“Drop him here. Gently, please.” My tone left no room for questions.

The pack members obeyed, placing him carefully on the bed.

I didn’t waste a second. I rushed to the other side of the room and grabbed my doctor’s jacket, slipping it on in haste.
