Chapter 85. Fight for Her

Theodore’s POV

I sighed as Adeline walked away. Her scent filled the entire air even as she wasn’t in the room anymore.

Her scent always rendered me so restless and I just couldn’t wait to have her in my hands again. I badly wanted to kiss her before Iris appeared from nowhere.

I turned around slowly, facing Iris, who stood there like she didn’t quite know what to do with her hands.

“What do you want, Iris?” I asked, not bothering to hide the annoyance in my voice.

“I... I didn’t know you were here, I…” she began.

“You really didn’t know I was here, Iris? And you expect me to believe that?” I asked her, arching a brow.

“Well… I actually followed you here, Theodore,” she confessed.

“Why? Why?” My voice rose before I could stop it. “What do you want? If you wanted to see me, you could’ve waited at the pack house. You know where to find me, Iris. Not just following me everywhere I go,” I said, barely holding back my irritation.
