Adeline’s POV

Everyone’s eyes were on me. Every single one. I could feel them. I didn’t need to raise my head to know it.

But when I did, the first face that caught my attention was Iris’s.

And the look on her face, one could tell she wants even expecting me to come at all. My mind just went to the peace offering cake she had brought for me.
