"Lillian you have to stop crying." Arsenio sighed beside me and wiped my tears off. I have returned to the palace and was in my room.

Ever since the banquet last night, all I did was cry about the outcome of it. I was deeply hurt by Mom's betrayal. If anyone could betray me I never thought it was her. I never pictured it to be true but she stood before everyone, loud and clear, and denied me as her daughter.
