Chapter 45. A Lucky Escape

Sienna’s POV

‘I don’t know how we managed that Rose, but someone’s looking out for us,’ I said to my wolf as I managed to pry my wrists from the restraints in the dark. The rope seared my flesh after the pressure released from me.

‘Thank the goddess,’ Rose replied with relief in her voice ‘Now we just need to get out before those two notice we’re gone!’

‘Yep,’ I said with a hurry, feeling around in the dark I caught the texture of the rope around my ankles ‘I think whatever they gave me is wearing off, I’m starting to see in the dark. Can you help?’

It was then I shifted from my human form, to that of a wolf. Rose came into the forefront of my mind and took control of the situation. My limbs easily removed themselves from the binds in my wolf form, much smaller than my humans, and I landed on all fours in front of the chair which bound me.
